- This Immaculate 1941 Ford Fire Truck is powered by it’s numbers-matching 239ci Flathead V8 engine w/ only 8,830 original miles mated to the original 4-speed manual transmission yet cooled by an aluminum radiator. This Show-stopping customized Motorcycle Hauler was purchased several years ago from the Marshall Goldman Collection but ordered new by the Clarksville Georgia Fire Department in 1941. Now converted to a Toy Hauler in Pristine condition finished in black over a black, this Rare Find was featured in an article by Ford themselves on their website, where they called it “’The Coolest Motorcycle Hauler they have seen” and “the Cream of the Proverbial Crop”.

This piece of prewar history features a Howe fire apparatus body, while retaining all its original firefighting equipment, such as its Sterling Sirenlite horn on the fender, some up-to-date gauges, vintage fire extinguishers, tools and a wooden axe on the bed. The water tank was removed in favor of an Easy-Extend ramp and deck for hauling a motorcycle, such as the vintage Indian prop included with the purchase. This Impeccable vintage Ford also has the original Flathead engine dressed up in bright red paint to match the accessories. It was detailed with chrome head nuts, chrome water pipes and a chrome air cleaner. The interior is upholstered in black vinyl with red piping, an embroidered Indian motorcycle logo. The body & cab are in excellent condition and the deep black paint looks great against the chrome trim & red accessories. This fire truck was featured in an article by Ford, in which they called it "the coolest motorcycle hauler" they have seen and "the cream of the proverbial crop." Rolling on Power King Tires & black steel wheels with red outer rings, this truck is a huge people pleaser that will easily start conversations & lots of photo opportunities for people of all ages!
