REVIEW FROM THE WHITE POCKET PHOTO WORKSHOP

DCYE - Concord, California
August 28, 2019 - Spectacular Experience in a World-Class Location

On a just completed trek through the otherworldly landscapes of the Southwest, I had the benefit of learning from not one but two outstanding and supremely talented professionals: They not only took me
to exotic places off the beaten path, which would be extremely difficult for me to find or reach on my own, but they took my vision for photography to a different level. Our night photography session were especially rewarding as we had clear skies for three straight nights, rare during the summer monsoon season....

They know the meaning of customer focus. Contrary to my other experiences with photo tours, David and Ryan dedicated their time to making sure the group was learning and having fun, and of course, positioned to take those “fist bumping” photos that we would be proud to share. They showed more interest in my success than in their own photography, pointing out how my images could be improved, and allowing me to try out different lenses I didn’t have in my arsenal to expand my perspectives.

They showed me there’s so much to learn to be an outstanding photographer, which was super motivational. The tour was well executed and paced. I’m already looking forward to my next adventure to take what goes on in those “twelve inches behind the lens” up another notch.
